Nathan Pratyksh Khanna
Nathan Pratyksh Khanna was born in spring 1983 and raised in the Himalayas. A rebellious yet affectionate child, he learned early that questions could be as important as answers. Some of his fondest memories are from his grandmother’s farmhouse, surrounded by orchards of apples, pears, plums, and almonds. He favors the silence of winter, though it is in spring blossoms and autumn’s fading gold that his photography thrives, capturing flowers, forests, rivers, and fleeting wonders. Of all the orchard’s gifts, plums remain his favorite—symbols of comfort, memory, and joy.
At home, Nathan shares life with his childhood sweetheart and wife, Swati, and their son, Irenaeus, raising him in a world of curiosity, laughter, and kindness.
He tells stories not only through words but also through images and design—believing every photograph to be a fragment of philosophy, a verse in an unspoken dialogue with the world. A sports buff who loves heavy metal, manga, and cooking, he finds joy in exploring history, culture, and the stories each person carries.
Encouraged by Parker J. Cole—renowned author, speaker, and radio host whom Nathan affectionately calls Jen—he found the courage to write. To him, Jen is a hero, whose belief in him turned hesitation into a lifelong pursuit. Since then, he has written fiction, fantasy, dark fantasy, children’s stories, and poems that blend humor, wonder, and shadow.
Nathan hopes to be known not only as an author and writer but also as a pet poet—a voice for tenderness, laughter, and truth. One day, he dreams of retiring to a quiet farmhouse in the mountains, sitting beneath the trees with a notebook in one hand and a ripe plum in the other, pondering life’s enduring questions.
There comes a moment in writing when it feels as though every thought has been spent. Yet it is precisely then, in the quiet beyond certainty, that the fingers begin to move on their own—revealing truths you never knew you carried.

The perfect journey is never finished, the goals are always just across the next river, round the shoulder of the next Mountain. There is always one more track to follow, one more location to explore.
This book was recommended to me by my friend after I finished reading ( JIM OZY & THE PERILS OF ALGEBRA BY NATHAN PRATYKSH KHANNA ) AS I had love that book so much. I feel Iike I have then gone into all the brights places with high expectations and my review is probably, at least partly a consequence of that, I just could find my self connecting to the characters in the same way the author wrote this book.
This book is journey of Nathan, a writer / main character of the story of this book, who want to write a book on his favourite person Jim ozy. This book tells about the story regarding Jim ozy ( Jim was a former and a warrior) Nathan wants to write a book on him, so he went to his place Annie, but that time Jim ozy was missing from 6 years and people’s of that place start believing that Jim ozy is no more.
But during his whole journey, Nathan got many good stories regarding lifestyle of jim on his life, his courage, bravery and during Nathan also knows more about the life of Jim ozy. All the stories written by author in this book regarding Jim Ozyis best and superb way.
Well, know about the story of a book every one grabs the copy of this book and this also available in kindle version. The language, the conversation, all are well written and beautifully placed. Character is also well developed, the cover of the book looks interesting and totally matched with the title of the book.
To start off this book is good and sweet as a clean Catchy like in cricket at the slips, the author more like narrates his journey about the travel time of his travelling and searching ( Jim ozy ). The author tries too much fantasy and keeps it as original as it can be, he encounters multiple stories through the journey of his book. Beginners can also go with this book.
The story is neither too long nor too short, Overall a perfect read recommends to all.

After reading the title, I couldn’t really know the genre and it quite increased my curiosity.
As the name suggests, it tells us about the Adventures of an author named Nathan who is set to write a book on Jim Ozy. As we get to know further Jim Ozy seems to be a fearless guy residing in the Mountains.
The book tells us about Nathan’s experiences in Jim’s village along with various adventures of Jim Ozy.
I initially thought the book to be a Thriller but instead it is more of a Fantasy. Though the description is quite elaborate at various instances, it felt as if the book was in bits & pieces and fragmented story pieces have been brought in together to make a book. It might be so because of Jim’s adventures being retold to Nathan, but it certainly hampered the reading experience.
Talking about the cover, it certainly has Importance considering the storyline but at first I felt it very weird, though designed in an amazing way. The length of the book is moderate not making it a drag. Overall an average read for me.

•The first thing to be noted about this book is that it is nowhere related to Algebra, as in Mathematics, a very great relief that made me to proceed further through the pages.
•This story is about Nathan, who starts off his journey to a hamlet in the mountains with the intention of writing about his Idol, Jim Ozy the titular character.
•The author have vividly explained the details of each character or place he comes across, in addition to the map and glossary.
•Though Jim is introduced at a later stage, we happen to meet people who are really sweet and a few we might tend to place our suspicion upon.
•The author lures the readers into this Utopian world, perfectly woven tales within the tales, folklores, magic, curse, superstitions, truth, making the reader want more if it.
•The scenic beauty of the mountains, the trees, the falls, the lakes, the fruits, felt like countryside somewhere in the English land while the warmth and hospitality of the people more like the Indian. I realised after reading the “about the author” column at the end of the book that he actually hails from the Himalayas thus making it quite evident in his writings.
•What began as a journey, that turned eerie and then beautiful to mysterious to awestruck to magical to inspiring, this book just had a plethora of sweetness that kept me hooked with the flow undisturbed just like a crystal clear stream.
•For a debutant, he had succeeded in setting a high standard with his writings, hoping to read more of his works.

It’s been few days since I finished reading this book “Jim Ozy and the Perils of Algebra” yet it refuses to go out of my mind. I just can’t stop appreciating it how the author narrated the real story which we never read or heard of.
This book stands true to its blurb which is easy to understand and the author’s perilous journey to write about Jim Ozy’s fearless and mysterious adventures. He himself travels to Annie Serpent Stretch to find Jim of Kul and meeting wonderful characters both good and evil, and the journey takes him on a trail of suspense and adventure, across uncertain terrains.
The stories are thriller which leads to the imagination of fantasy world at the end. Dante’s story grabbed my attention.
Overall I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend to all ages.
