This book was recommended to me by my friend after I finished reading ( JIM OZY & THE PERILS OF ALGEBRA BY NATHAN PRATYKSH KHANNA ) AS I had love that book so much. I feel Iike I have then gone into all the brights places with high expectations and my review is probably, at least partly a consequence of that, I just could find my self connecting to the characters in the same way the author wrote this book.

This book is journey of Nathan, a writer / main character of the story of this book, who want to write a book on his favourite person Jim ozy. This book tells about the story regarding Jim ozy ( Jim was a former and a warrior) Nathan wants to write a book on him, so he went to his place Annie, but that time Jim ozy was missing from 6 years and people's of that place start believing that Jim ozy is no more.

But during his whole journey, Nathan got many good stories regarding lifestyle of jim on his life, his courage, bravery and during Nathan also knows more about the life of Jim ozy. All the stories written by author in this book regarding Jim Ozyis best and superb way.

Well, know about the story of a book every one grabs the copy of this book and this also available in kindle version. The language, the conversation, all are well written and beautifully placed. Character is also well developed, the cover of the book looks interesting and totally matched with the title of the book.

To start off this book is good and sweet as a clean Catchy like in cricket at the slips, the author more like narrates his journey about the travel time of his travelling and searching ( Jim ozy ). The author tries too much fantasy and keeps it as original as it can be, he encounters multiple stories through the journey of his book. Beginners can also go with this book.

The story is neither too long nor too short, Overall a perfect read recommends to all.

I am very new to this genre of fantasy as I haven't read many books revolving around it. And according to me writing fantasy is one of the most difficult tasks.

As the name suggests, the book revolves around Jim Ozy and his adventures. Author playing as the first part narration is so intrigued by his stories and quests that he wanted to write a book about him, so he went on his search. He started his hunt from the Annie serpent stretch and met Daven and Roda there. He became friends with them, and they told him and said they saw Jim 6 years ago. Later, Nathan saw a creature outside his window. With all this happening, Jim returned after 6 years and Nathan finally met him. He narrated his adventures with Geronimo. Who was that creature? What made him come to Annie serpent stretch? Why Jim returned? What all adventures he was talking about?

I won't say that this book is one another fantasy fiction. The plot of the book is very well - developed But i felt that the second half of the book could have been a lot better.

Narration is good and I appreciate the fact that the author has included himself as a first part narrator, although I think that it is a bit tricky for middle graders to understand. The language used is easy and the vocabulary used is not very advanced yet it gives a noble elegance to the plot.

Now talking about the characters, I guess their development could have been better. I personally had some difficulty in remembering the names of the characters because there were so many of them. I liked the character of Jim because his character was not just heroic but also very sensible.

Also, I absolutely loved the cover. It is very intriguing, creepy and weird. The Title is just perfect according to the plot and the book has no relations with the Algebra of mathematics.

Overall, I'll definitely recommend this book to you as of its very unique plot and beautiful descriptions of the scenes and phenomenal imagination of the author.

A book whose cover is so unique and different though I am not a big fan of this cover. This books takes us on a ride with the main protagonist who is the writer Nathan on a quest to find Jim Ozy.

He meets Jim Ozy for the 2nd time, yes you read it right they will be meeting for the 2nd time. They have met 6 years back and he plans to write a book on Jim Ozy. When Nathan visits Jim's place he meets the people who knows Jim and he discovers a lot of things about him and the thrill of the story begins. Listening to all the adventures of Jim and than meeting him a new adventure begins.

The characters are well developed but mind you there a lot of them to remember. The flow of the narration is good but at some points I felt it was a bit dragged. The language is easy to understand. The book is divided into 8 chapters. The place described feels like we are in a fairytale land. Book is a mix of thrill, suspense, fantasy. To know about what made Nathan write about Jim? What are Jim's adventures? you have to read this book.

Just like the author, I was intrigued by the tales. The arrangement was really interesting. There were stories inside the stories; everyone had a tale to tell. It was very well-written, with a smooth narrative. The setting created was perfect. You could imagine the nooks and corners of the fantasy land through the words. Jim, the protagonist, was mysterious and that created well-formed suspense around him. It was truly fascinating. The best thing was the author as the speaker. It gave the story a personal touch.

There were, although, a few errors here and there. The characters were great, but hard to remember. Some segments seemed a bit abrupt and I had a hard time grasping them.

Overall, a novel that is a fine fantasy. It wasn't like anything I have read before. I truly enjoyed this.

It's been few days since I finished reading this book "Jim Ozy and the Perils of Algebra" yet it refuses to go out of my mind. I just can't stop appreciating it how the author narrated the real story which we never read or heard of.

This book stands true to its blurb which is easy to understand and the author's perilous journey to write about Jim Ozy's fearless and mysterious adventures. He himself travels to Annie Serpent Stretch to find Jim of Kul and meeting wonderful characters both good and evil, and the journey takes him on a trail of suspense and adventure, across uncertain terrains.

The stories are thriller which leads to the imagination of fantasy world at the end. Dante's story grabbed my attention.

Overall I enjoyed reading this book and would recommend to all ages.

The book Jim Ozy and the Perils of Algebra is middle grade fantasy book . The author has done a remarkable job in creating this universe where Jim and Nathan ( the protagonist exists ) . The characters are well developed and adventures mentioned in the book are very exciting. The cover itself is very beautiful and acts as a introduction to the tale. The glossary at the end was a very thoughtful gesture of the author as the targeted are learners , it will help then understand the book better

Jim Ozy and the Perils of Algebra is book, with a genre mixed of Thriller-Fantasy, this book is definitely something worth a ride.

Written in a world where the characters live in between mountains and the plain grass fields, this book starts when the narrator—Nathan—decides to write a book on JIM OZY AND HIS ADVENTURES.

Nathan visits the hamlet of Jim, in order to uncover as much as he can about Jim, only to find that people turn at the name of his supposed Hero(Jim) and he has disappeared six years ago, in search of a hidden treasure. Nothing suspicious, right?

The real fun begins where when Nathan finally settles in with the family and friends of Jim, the creatures start to appear and soon Jim, the adventurer is back.

To sum it all, the narrator takes us to the ride of Adventure along with the his idol Jim, which leaves the readers (as in me), twisting and turning in suspense and thriller on a ride of a fantasy world.

The ending couldn't be better, perfectly depicted with everything in between.

The only thing which I didn't like was the title itself of the book, although it fits perfectly with Jim Ozy world, it sort of raffled me with the world Algebra in front, haha maybe something about having a math-phobia.

All in all, you should totally go for this book with coffee by your side.

-The author Nathan was so fascinated by the stories he heard about Jim cozy that he went seeking for his Hero. The book speak about the adventures of Ozy and the journey of Nathan to find Ozy. Are curious curious to know who Ozy is ?for that you need to buy the book.

-The book is not bound of constraints of reality it keeps expanding. When I saw the cover for the first time I straight away new what genre the book belonged to, this is what makes or breaks a book. I really love the cover, I mean the cover itself was enough for me to buy this book. I appreciate how keenly the author has described everything the names of the places and the currency he invented, these things built the foundation of this book really strong. I almost felt that I was living the journey with Ozy and Nathan, a journey I didn't wanted to end. All the characters are sketched well but my favourite is Ozy obviously. The book is literally my first fantasy book that I love so much.

The map at the beginning and the glossary at the end is very readers friendly. 4) The author has narrated the adventure scenes so well that it seems to be like watching a movie. I liked the chapters Seasons and Cyan Eyes. 5) The language used is simple and lucid. 6) Characters are well developed and described by the author. My favorite characters are Jim, Mama Marim. 7) Hats off to the author for his imagination of a land where even creatures are made up of rocks. 8) The flow of the book is well paced which makes it an engaging read. 9) The end of the story is superb. 10) Overall, an entertaining read.

Author builds the story around each character and every detail he adds about its character is what make the story line hot crisp and interring.8 sections combine to form this book and punch the reads with a message that they can’t see coming .The novel is written in an interesting way which got me hooked to it and loved reading this novel.

Firstly, the title and the cover is so intriguing. I was really curious about the creature on the cover and the connection to Algebra. It’s a middle grade fantasy book. I always like a book with a good map.

The plot of the story is very different, unique and amusing. The narration has been done beautifully, it involves story within a story and dialogue within a dialogue but it doesn't hamper the narration of the book. There are a lot many characters in the book which sometimes makes it difficult to keep a track of events, as in who says what and who's related to whom.The language is very simple, plain and lucid.

•The first thing to be noted about this book is that it is nowhere related to Algebra, as in Mathematics, a very great relief that made me to proceed further through the pages.

A short and light fantasy book for you.

This book is a story of Jim Ozy and the adventures that he has done in his lifetime. The adventures by him are quite unbelievable but there was a writer called Nathan who was extremely fascinated by Ozy and he wanted to write about him. Nathan travels to mountains to write about Ozy but when he reaches there, Ozy was not there since 6 years. Question comes here is : what was so fascinating about Ozy? What were the adventures that Ozy had done? Read book to find that out.

Writing style of author is so lucid to understand that beginners will definitely find it easy to understand and read. Also the flow is maintained well.

What people will find most interesting in this book will be the adventures of Ozy and the friendship of Ozy with Geronimo.

After reading the title, I couldn't really know the genre and it quite increased my curiosity.

As the name suggests, it tells us about the Adventures of an author named Nathan who is set to write a book on Jim Ozy. As we get to know further Jim Ozy seems to be a fearless guy residing in the Mountains.

The book tells us about Nathan's experiences in Jim's village along with various adventures of Jim Ozy.

I initially thought the book to be a Thriller but instead it is more of a Fantasy. Though the description is quite elaborate at various instances, it felt as if the book was in bits & pieces and fragmented story pieces have been brought in together to make a book. It might be so because of Jim's adventures being retold to Nathan, but it certainly hampered the reading experience.

Talking about the cover, it certainly has Importance considering the storyline but at first I felt it very weird, though designed in an amazing way. The length of the book is moderate not making it a drag. Overall an average read for me.

We love our heroes very much but when the person is not fiction it is real. We do everything to meet them. The same story goes here in the book where Nathan travels to meet his hero, Jim. The author himself has himself included beautifully in the book where he wants to tell us about Jim, the person why he is hero and what he has done.

Starting from the first chapter the book starts picking up the pace of mystery and thriller. Nathan had met Jim six years ago, will he able to meet him again. He meets with different persons who are very close to Jim. Finally, he meets Jim but wait something interesting is yet to come which is full of adventure.

Who is Jim ozy interesting adventure story on his life is to be discovered. Jim came to know about himself who he is. He wants to save his place known as Redemption Realm. To know more you have to read this adventurous book. Will he able to reveal the secret that has been hiding from it?

Cover of the book is very amazing. The element of mystery, adventure and thrill makes you read the book in one go as the book is written very well that will make you remain from the start to end. The end of the book is shown brilliantly where all the secrets hiding from Jim are reveled and what have Jim decided when everything was over.

Our protagonist jonathan travels to land of dream to meet jim. The land which is full of adventure and mysterious things. There are mysteries and objects which intensifies the fascination and add elements of amazement to the story. Jonathan wish to write a book on jim. On the way, enjoy the journey by reading the book. It is a nice and interesting book. The plot and story line is different. Also the narration and storytelling techniques are precisely used to present the story. The covernis little terrifying but doesn't fails to catch attention. And definitely makes the book a "see me, you can't ignore" thing. The book is not a long read but the good part is that less are there, the filler parts. The story isn't filled much, nor it is over detailed in terms of storytelling. It can be easily noticed that the work on editing and crafting the story is done precisely. It is a good to go read, if you like reading adventure stories it is a book you should think about. A wonderful book set up in a fantasy world, like some fairytale world five white house's of similar size ,tall green trees, a dark pine wood, some cruel animals, beautiful waterfalls and some intresting people's which are really sweet and helpful.

This book is a journey of Nathan, a writer who wants to write a book about his favorite person Jim Ozy so he went to his place Annie,but Jim was missing from 6 years and people started believing that he is no more.

But during his journey he got to heard so far stories related to bravery and courage of Jim and he loved to do adventures so he met several people and some says that nobody has that power to kill Ozy,so now you have to read by your own to know more about adventurous stories related to Jim Ozy.

Book is a flowy read and this book is very good for kids specially because content is suitable for them and the way author describes each and every character,scenes and some places it reminded me of several childhood stories and fantasies like wolf-man etc. Overall a good entertaining read.

Too many characters were introduced at the same time which i found it confusing, but still most of them played an important part in the plot. Indeed it was needed to create a whole new fantasy world.

While reading i found myself shocked with the twists, what happened was different from what i thought.

Everything like culture,hamlets, surroundings, valley,plains were explained realistically.

The story was a fast paced story and was not lagging at any part

A pure fantasy which was well developed which pull the readers into their world

I felt it was written in bits and pieces, and each chapter felt like an individual story, which made is quite difficult to capture the mood of the book.

But I would really like to appreciate the author for his imagination that he has used really well in his narration. Also I liked how each character has their own built up. Though there could have been lesser characters.

I am not someone who reads fantasy generally. But this book was certainly quite interesting to read. This book is originally meant for young adults. The plot is very well-written but it seems to falter at certain places, especially in the second half.
